What about me 4 Wednesday

A week from today is my birthday...Im already feeling older.....my age never used to bother me but for some reason after I hit a "certain" age it started getting to me real bad...I was going to put a post up letting you guys guess how old you think Im going to be....but I got afraid that everyone would guess me older than I am and I'd only end up feeling worse.....does anyone else have this problem??? Do you hate not so much that your getting older but that you feel you are starting to show that you are......do you think it effects women more than men?????

All of my life--People thought I was older. I was an early bloomer as a child--so at ten, I was mistaken for a 15 or 16 year old...

Now that I am older---I feel like I've been old my whole life--does that make sense?

Ok I have an unfair advantage here. I know how old you are. So I will just sit back and watch the fun begin.

But I have to say, that you don't look your age. You look maaaahvelous!

Well given the fact that you have a 20 year old son, I'd say late thirties, maybe forty, but you don't look it.

I've been a baby-faced kid for a long time. Heck I didn't get my growth spurt till I was 20 years old. I couldn't grow a full beard till 24. My Dad is almost 60 and could pass for 40-45. Recently though, even though I still look young, I've started to feel my age. I can't stay up as late as I could in my early 20's anymore. My knees hurt, course this could be my increased weight. I don't have as much energy any more. I'm almost thirty, and I'm starting to feel it, and it's scary.

Dena, you look great! i know the age of your kids...so my guess is that we're the same age 39???? I think we look about the same age! if your older than that, I'm gutted and booking botox!

I know exactly how you feel...I'm creeping up on that "certain age" and it's a little scary. I work with a lot of teenagers though, so I think that helps keep me feeling young...LOL Now if I could just lose about 80 pounds...then I'd feel a lot younger!

I think it's so unfair that men become distinguished and women just get old! And, whatever your age, you look fabulous!
