Today is my dads birthday, he turns 60. I sit here thinking once again wow where has the time gone? I dont know why the fact that he is 60 seems so impossible after all Im the oldestof his kids and Im 40. But for some reason it seems like there should be no way he is 60. My dad has had a rough life and he has gone thru alot of different heartaches in his 60 years. But through it all he finds reasons to stay positive, and he is always looking for ways to help those who need it. Last week he went to wal-mart just to buy those from church that he knew was struggling some groceries. Now my dad certainly isn't made of money. But he always finds a way to give a helping hand to those in need. And I truly hope that this year he gets some of that back in return. He deserves it. I love you dad and I wish you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I didn't realize your dad's birthday was January 21st!! My dad's birthday was yesterday (20th)! How weird is that? LOL My dad is 67 though.
I just read your post on Rick's blog and oh my gosh I told him he had to stop. I also was sitting here crying. Welcome to the world of blogging I look forward to reading much more. Loved your average size post. love love love it
