When you read someone's blog...do you read all the comments that have been left first...or do you skip to the end and leave yours????
*I usually skip down and write mine first , just so I don't forget what was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the post....but before I post it I will usually read the others so if mine ends up being just like someone elses I can change it up a bit and it doesn't come out sounding like I just copied another person*

I'm with you...I jump to the comment form and leave my first thoughts. After I click the publish, I'll go back and read the comments. It is amazing how many times, the comments reflect the same feeling and say the same thing! Happy Monday, Dena!!
For me it depends on the topic of the post. Sometimes there's no need to go through every comment but in some cases where it's more conversational post, then I will. Sometimes it depends on how many comments there are/how much time I have to read them, sometimes i just skim through... Alot of the time people are saying the same thing, or similar.
Good question!
I follow the same method as Ter. It all depends on the topic being discussed. However, I still post what I had planned on saying regardless of what anyone else said.
One of the other things I also do is make sure I subscribe to get the follow up comments emailed to me if it is a hot topic. (Or if I feel like being a stalker). lol
I agree with Ter and Tom (which I guess shows that I read their comments before writing this).
It depends on the nature of the topic, how many other comments are before me, and how strongly I feel about the issue.
I would say that most of the time I go right to the comment form and type my comment. Sometimes, someone else (like Tom and Ter) already said what I was going to say, so I just comment that I agree with them. Other times, depending on the issue, I just submit my comment regardless of what others have said, even if it's like mine.

Oh, crap.
I just try to leave a thoughtful comment and that's the end of that... Now if it's some sort of debate topic that's a different story. But I don't read many of those. An interesting question!
it depends on the post for me, i actually like to read and respond sometimes, especially on a serious topic... other times, if its a funny or something, i just comment, regardless of the sameness xxxxx
I scroll down, leave my comment, then go back and read. :)
I do both. Sometimes there is a post somewhere and I'll comment right in the middle of it... then I'll go back and finish reading only to realize I left a comment prematurely. Sometimes I come back AFTER I've left a comment to see what others had to say. Sometimes I just read. It really depends on stuffstuffstuff. Like mood, topic, content, stuffstuffstuff.
