I'm a simple person...I wear simple clothes like shorts and a t-shirt or jeans and a sweatshirt...flip flops or my Nike's. I do my own hair and make-up, my nails are my own..not fake. And one of my favorite pieces of jewelry is the bracelet that Devin made me 5 years ago when he was only 6. I still love wearing it and personally I think its FANTABULOUS!!!

I mean check this one out...it cost $25 million .........personally I find it just plain UGLY.....I'll stick with my "priceless" bracelet...it looks waaaaaaaay better!!!

I couldn't agree more about the bracelet...PLUS it has huge sentimental value. Something the glitz and glam just can't compete with!

That "thing" is just gaudy. I tell my kids that sometimes more isn't better... it is just too much. I think I just found the perfect example!

I have saved every single thing my kids have ever given me. If someone were to ever come and take everything I own, they can have it all as long as I get to keep those things that were given to me out of love from my kids.
I am definetly not "high matainence". I wear shorts whenever I can. I also wear flip flops till they wear out. I wear rubber boots around the yard in rainy weather. I wished I had tough feet like I did when I was young so I could just go around bare foot. I do my own hair, don't worry about my nails and only dress up with make-up when I have to. I find living where we do the environment and outdoor work is really hard on clothes. When in Yuma it is shorts always and bathing suits.

Hey hun, sorry I've been AWOL for so long....I know exactly what you mean about being priceless....I still have the macaroni necklace that Chaz gave me when he was in preschool...and he just turned 14!! I love those things that are made with love...I still have all the gifts you made for/gave me too :o)
