Doing a little catch-up

I keep saying Im going to get my butt back in gear and start posting on a regular basis but I have yet to start doing that, some in part to just feeling like I have nothing to write about and some in part to being really busy. As I stated before with babysitting, and working on three online stores and then trying to make time for the family I feel like all my time is used up. So today Im just going to give you a little catch up.

Last week-end we went and seen the movie Avatar if you have not seen it you should it is really a good movie. I wasn't sure it was going to be my thing but I knew that Devin was really wanting to see it, all of us walked out of there talking about how good it truly was. So if you are wanting something to do this week-end that is something thats well worth the money!

On Monday I received the prize I had won a couple months ago from one of my new bloggy friends Rebecca she had a give away for $40 that could be spent at her Partylite web store which you can check out by clicking here. OMG let me tell you these candles smell so good. It truly makes the whole house smell!!! And she is such a sweetheart I ordered what I wanted and said if there was anyway she could throw in a 6 pk sample of her favorite scented votives that would be awesome. She sent me TWO 6 pk samples!!! If you are like me and like your house smelling good all the time you have to go check out her store and order some candles they are amazing!

I had told you that Josh was going to work on quitting smoking, I want to share his progress with you because I think its awesome. He has gone from smoking 2 packs a day to now smoking ONE pack in 2 1/2 days!!! Is that awesome or what?!?! It hasn't always been easy we have banged heads a long the way but we finally found something that is working for him and Im so glad. I know him quiting isnt something thats going to happen over night but I think he's come a long ways so far and Im very proud of him.

Last night was my dads 61st birthday we had him come over and eat enchiladas with us and have some cake and ice cream and then we broke out the wii and had a bowling tournament, my dad use to bowl on a league a long time ago and hasn't since. I have to tell you it was so much fun watching him kick our butts in bowling. He was having such a good time now he wants to get a wii for himself!!! We just got the wii after Christmas, I wasn't sure that it was something that we really needed to have but Devin had saved his Christmas money and was about $50 short and thats what he really wanted to get so, Josh pitched in the rest and we became the proud owners of a wii. Of all the video games that we have owned so far I think this one is truly alot of fun. It gets you so involved in what you are doing thats it kind of like a work out while playing!!

Thats about it...like I said my life isnt that exciting....oh if you havent checked out our main store for awhile go check it out we have become authorized dealers with some new places and are in the process of adding some new items. In the next few months we have lots of new items we will be adding so keep coming back!! If you see something you want use code "blog5" at checkout and save an extra 5% on your purchase!

I know what ya mean about not knowing what to blog about...my life isn't that exciting either. And I've been off work since December 24th, so I don't even have that to blog about! There's been a couple things going on just this week, but I'm so busy getting ready for them, that I don't have time to blog about them...LOL...kind of a "Catch 22"..now that I'm here though, I will quick type somethin' up about one...ttyl :o)

Good for Josh! When he gets down to 0 a day it will be even better. My old man always says you ain't really quit until you can't remember the last time you had one. A lot of truth to that.

Sounds like you are doing well. You know what they say, idle hands are the Devil's workshop so guess you don't have much to worry about in that department right now. :-)

YAY FOR JOSH! :) I'm sure it has to be difficult to say the least. I haven't seen the movie Avatar, but have heard only good things...maybe I should make Big Daddy take me on a date this weekend. Hope to see more of you around the blogosphere soon, but can totally relate to being busy! :)
