broken inside

Here I lie,
Broken Inside,
Nowhere to go,
Nowhere to hide.

I'm left here all alone,
With no one by my side.
All I do is sit here and cry,
I'm so broken inside.

Too many problems,
Too many tears.
I'm bleeding blood and crying tears.
Unbearable pain, through all of these years.

No one in my life,
Really seems to care,
They go throughout their day,
Hardly noticing I'm here.

I'm alone in this world,
With nowhere to go,
Filled with so much sadness,
No one will ever know.

You can read it on my face,
You can see it in my eyes,
But no one ever takes the time to notice,
I'm broken inside.

Lost inside myself

Right now in my life....nothing is making sense anymore....I feel like people always use me...they take advantage of my kind heart and suck away everything I have.....I tell myself Im going to just stop trying to help people, Im going to stop giving so much of myself...and yet I continue to do it...and now I feel lost...and it makes me feel bitter and yet I have no one but myself to blame..because for whatever reason I feel it is my place to fix everyone that comes running to me...and yet I cant even fix myself!!!

a positive thought

"Laugh when you can, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can't change. Kiss slowly, play hard, forgive quickly, take chances, give everything and have no regrets. Life's too short to be anything…but happy."

Thought Provoking Questions

I think it is to allow the person complete access to you without reservation. To allow that person to be open with you about your qualities, both good and bad, and for you to have no resentment. It is to trust and to be trustworthy. To be viewed by the person as a precious and fragile gift. To be transparent and completely honest with yourself and the other person. And to be fearless in their love knowing that you can always depend on it.

my son...my soldier

Today was an awesome day....I received a phone call from my boy telling me to get on skype...I got a whole hour to sit and look at my son and hear his voice....it was awesome..and just what I needed. I have not been sleeping at night and my ability to concentrate is gone...I keep telling Josh that this is all taking its toll on me. Kody has called three other time since he has been gone and I have missed two of those calls....and with no way for me to contact him...its been miserable for me...so this was wonderful...and now I hope I can relax tonight and FINALLY get some sleep!! Anyway just wanted to share this with all of you..thank you to those that have emailed and text, and called to talk to me about this...your kind words mean so much!!!

MY SOLDIER – MY SON
By M.E.Drummey

Where has my little boy gone
Off to play with his toy soldiers
Making fox holes in the sand
With his little hands he builds
Dreams of battles to be won.

My Soldier my little Son
A grown man you have become
Playing soldiers but not for fun
Making fox holes in the sand
With your brothers-band of men.

Where is my Son now a man
In some god forsaken far off land
Now you play for real
Your play for keeps

May God above keep you safe
And bring you home my little boy.

I Give To You, My Son
I held him as an infant; I hugged him as a boy
and through the years he has become my greatest pride and joy.

I love him more than I can say, his life more precious than my own,
but gone are the whims and notions of the little boy that I had known.

For the years have passed so quickly since the time it all began
and now he stands before me with the conviction of a man.

He wants to serve his country, he states aloud with pride
as I try to sort out the emotions that I’m feeling deep inside…

a union of the uncertain fear, which I cannot control
and the allegiance which lies deep within my patriotic soul.

I trust that my years of guidance will serve as a strong foundation
as he performs the duties requested from his beloved nation.

God please guide him as he travels to the places our soldiers have bled
and walk with him through pathways where those heroes’ feet have tread.

Oh Sweet Land of Liberty, humbly I give to you, my son
praying you’ll return him safely home when his work for you is done.

Today is the day

I said good bye to my oldest son....hes been on deployment for a couple months now but he was still in the USA for that time but today that ended....he will now be spending the next 10 months or more overseas. Ive tried to pretend I will be alright...everyone around me tells me "you will be fine"...but I dont feel fine...I feel lost...sad...scared....yes Im very proud of my son....but I miss him like crazy already. The days and nights are going to feel so long for me waiting for the phone to ring so I can hear his voice and know he is alright...knowing that the calls could be days...or even weeks apart. Im a mom of three boys and they truly are my heart and soul....this is by far one of the hardest things for me.....I cant even find the words to express what I feel inside, other than my heart hurts. I want my son home......and the next 10-11 months is going to be the longest time of my life.

RIP Pillsbury Doughboy

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications
from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 73. Doughboy was buried in a lightly
greased coffin.

Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects at his funeral, including Mrs Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies. Captain Crunch sent his apologies. The gravesite was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy in the graveyard and lovingly described
Doughboy as a man who did not realize how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose
quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was
not considered a very ‘smart’ cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked
schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still, even as a crusty old
man, was considered a roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife, Playa Dough; two children, John Dough and Jane Dough; plus they have one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly
father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

BE AWARE

The American Cancer Society's most recent estimates for breast cancer in the United States are for 2010:

  • About 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women.
  • About 54,010 new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) will be diagnosed (CIS is non-invasive and is the earliest form of breast cancer).
  • About 39,840 women will die from breast cancer
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, except for skin cancers. The chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some time in a woman's life is a little less than 1 in 8
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, exceeded only by lung cancer. The chance that breast cancer will be responsible for a woman's death is about 1 in 35
Death rates from breast cancer have been declining since about 1990, with larger decreases in women younger than 50. These decreases are believed to be the result of earlier detection through screening and increased awareness, as well as improved treatment

At this time there are over 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States

(my mom lost her battle with breast cancer in 1998)

If Roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
