My Body

This is stepping waaaaaay out of my comfort zone ... But I want to make a point ... So here goes.....When I look into the mirror ... I see that I no longer have the body I once had ..Or the body that i wish I did .., I see the body that I do have .., it's the body that has carried three boys in it as well as a precious one that didn't make it ... It's the body of a woman that's 48 and that has carried the weight of the world on her shoulders ... The body that dealt with and escaped domestic violence ... It's the body of a woman going thru changes and it's MY BODY.. And while I work every day to improve it I have had to learn to accept it and love it because it's the only body I am given ... And it is mine~ 

 

Dont Let Life Pass You By

 

It sprinkled today... Nothing major just a small storm cloud passed over ... But it made me wonder how many people noticed it... Now a days it seems everyone is so busy with other things they don't notice life around them ... I hate when I go out and I see people with their faces in their phones ... While out eating .. Shopping... Driving.. Even their kids sporting events!! I'm not one of those people ... I want to talk to the ones I'm with ... I want to see my son play ball!! I don't want moments to pass me by and I miss it and I think more people should be this way ... The tweets... Snapchats ...Facebook and Instagram post can wait ... Take time to enjoy life and make sure the ones you are with know just how much they mean to you... Because we aren't promised tomorrow .... So be in this moment now~

PRAY FOR AMERICA

I do not know what it is like to be a black person,and to carry the daily worries and fears you carry on a daily basis....but I do know what it is like to be a mom...a daughter...a sister...and a friend. I know what it is like to cry over the violence I see happening every day on the news...My heart aches....We have to find a way to stop the HATE...we are all human beings...and ALL OF OUR LIVES MATTER!!! We need to stand together with love in our hearts and stop the hate and violence!! #PrayForAmerica #AllLivesMatter #StopTheHate #StopTheViolence #HealTheHateredDontCreateIt #KeepLoveInYourHeart
