oh look at this picture

Josh just sent me this...even though he's working only maybe 70 miles away from home...he has no snow on the ground and he ran across this pretty little creek (he said the water is crystal clear). Knowing I just love the outdoor pics of things like this he took it with his phone and sent it to me and thanks to all this technology I am now sharing it with all of you!!!!! I cant believe that I have snow on the ground, no sun, and winds blowing 45 mph and he has this!!!!!

My totally random picture for the day happened while taking Devin to school this morning. We woke up this morning to snow on the ground and winds blowing 45 mph. The sky is gray and the clouds are moving fast but Devin grabbed my phone and snapped this picture of the sun trying to peek thru the moving clouds. Not really sure why my pictures end up so small when I transfer them from my phone but oh well you can still see the beauty of the sun even on this dark, cloudy, and ohhh so cold day!!!!

Man I hope that Spring weather gets here SOON!!!!!

My friend Tom wanted to start a "totally random picture" theme posting a picture that we randomly take during our day. Well this picture was taken by my "joshy" with his cell phone today as he was working. He does land surveying and sometimes sees some really cool things. He sent me this because I like shots of old windmills and old farm houses. As you can see the sky is all grey as there is a storm moving in on us again. (Not really sure why the picture turned out so small.)

SOOOOO just a few days ago we were all excited about our 70 almost 80 degree weather....it's Spring oh yes!!!!! Then yesterday we had tornadoes happening on one side of us....blizzards happening on the other side of us and we got blasted with 50 mph winds...rain...and hail...and this morning I woke up to this!!!!!

Today is my "joshy's" Birthday he is the big 4-0 so I wanted to post a special song just for him....again takes us back a few years....but what can I say those truly were the good ole days... Josh and I grew up going to the same school together though in different grades. We never hung out or even said more then hi to each other..we had some of the same friends but that was about the extent of it. We knew who each other was, he was actually friends with my cousin. When we graduated we went our own way...he ended up in Florida and I stayed in Nebraska. Both got married and had kids. Our lives had MANY ups and downs....we both ended up divorced he ended up coming back to the small town he swore he would never return to. One night I got a message thru myspace. He didn't have a picture posted so I didn't know who he was. We just talked and spent a few days getting to know each other. Then I started trying to figure out who he was as by this time I knew he was from the same small town I'm from and we were about the same age. Wasn't long and I had figured it out. We had our first meeting and that was it from that moment on we have been inseparable. We are totally opposite of each other but some how we just balance each other out. We have had our share of hard times in our past relationships and are so ready for the life we both have dreamt of....so happy birthday baby...I love you..and I'm so grateful that we found each other...again after all these years!!!!

Im in a funk AGAIN

Im having one of my moments I go thru this at different times and this time its hitting me bad. I have packed on a few extra pounds over the winter I can feel it. I already am hmmm I guess the nice way to put it is "fluffy" and that sometimes gets to me. I dont wish to be all skinny and boney I just wish to be how I was before I had my last son. I dont know why but after having him I have never been able to get back down to any where close to how I was before I got pregnant with him. I have tried diets(they dont work), diet pills (they dont work and some turned out being unsafe), when I was a teenager I actually starved myself and landed myself in the hospital hooked up to IV's listening to the doctor tell my mom how I was very lucky to be alive. I got myself to the point I couldnt even walk. It was ridiculous and I am much older now and would never do something that stupid again. Sometimes I just look at it as this is how I am so deal with it and I do fine. but then for whatever reasons its like a dark cloud comes over me and the next thing i know Im depressed and sad about how I look. I cry about it and obsess over it. Now "joshy" he always tells me he loves me the way I am..and he thinks Im SEXY...he always shows me attention...you know kisses, huggins.. smacks oin the ass, always in the mood. so that should tell me that he isnt the least bit worried about the few pounds I have packed on..but why does it get to me like it does?? I mean seriously I start feeling guilty about eating anything. I know I have to eat, but man what can I eat that isnt going to make me feel like a cow!!! Im not the healthy food kinda person...sure Ill do salads now and then I eat my fruits and veggies. but Im just not the sit down and count your calorie intake kinda girl. I wanna eat what I want to eat when I want to eat and NOT have to feel so damn guilty about it!!! I SWEAR SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE I GAIN WEIGHT JUST THINKING ABOUT FOOD OR EVEN JUST WATCHING SOMEONE ELSE EAT THE FOOD!!! I dont know what to do anymore..and Im really tired of being in this funk.

Todays theme is to post about something that is my favorite....well my favorite day of the "work week" is by far FRIDAY...means its the end of the work week and the beginning of the week-end means I can stay up late....(that made me sound like a kid again heheh) and sleep in....means I can lounge around in my jammies late in the morning if i so chose...means I dont have to watch kiddy shows all day(since I babysit I tend to do alot of that)...means woohoo I have two full days ahead of me that I can do whatever I want to do!!!!!

YAY ME

Just letting you all know "joshy" made it home last night soooo I slept REALLY good!!! YAY ME!!! I did not have to go for three nights in a row of no sleep. So all my grouchiness is gone!!!! BUT I have one little thing I so need to get off my chest and just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else....so yesterday as you know if you read my blog I was grouchy two nights of no sleep because a certain someone was away for work. And it just seemed like my day just kept getting worse. I babysit in my home and the 2 year old was definitely going thru his terrible two stage yesterday. Usually he is so good but yesterday I think my grouchiness rubbed off on him. And his sister who is 4 she was just full of energy and asking questions about anything and everything. And me being grouchy and super tired felt like my brain did not want to function. So everything was kind getting on my nerves although I never one time raised my voice or anything I put the fake smile on my face and pretended all was good

then the Internet decided it wasn't going to work anymore. I called my sweet thing and asked him what Im suppose to do. I did exactly what he told me to do like 10 times (Im not even lying) but it never would start working so I went the whole day with no computer. Which is my entertainment when the kiddos take a nap, not to mention I use it for banking purposes and I have ordered things and wanted to see the tracking info. plus I couldnt get on and see what everyone was blogging about!!!! So all of this only made my day of grouchiness WORSE!!! Well then my honey comes walking thru the door and I thought yay me I get to sleep tonight (among other things) !!!!! He asked if got the Internet going I said no I showed him what I did like 10 times thru out the day (which he said yes it was exactly what he told me to do) but for some reason it didnt fix a damn thing. ANYWAY HE PICKS UP THE LITTLE BOX TURNS IT OFF AND BACK ON WHICH IS WHAT I DID 10 TIMES ALREADY THRU OUT THE DAY..AND GUESS WHAT IT WORKED!!!! I couldnt believe this...of course I was happy it was working again but sooooo fricking mad it worked for him and didnt for me. This is not the first time this has happened to me oh no I have had times I will say the car is making a weird noise he goes and gets in and guess what noise is gone...just like that..has this happened to anyone else???? or does it only happen to me...is someone playing a cruel trick on me??? Oh and then the topper to it all....this morning my good friend ( I wont mention any names...you know who you are) sends me a text and says I see you got your computer back I told the story of what happened...the response I got back..."it takes a man sometimes"......OH VERY FUNNY....and yes it was a MAN that said that to me!!!! But anyway I'll not ponder over that anymore I just had to get it out of my system....I got sleep..Im not grouchy anymore...my "joshy" is home...kids are in good moods....I have a short work day today...and Im going shopping later!!!! AND Its almost the week-end...YAY ME!!!!!!!

One of my " bestest" friends ever...Tom played with my picture on a program he has and made me black and white with only the rose having color to it...I love this look. Its actually what I'm using for the theme so to speak when I redo our bedroom....I'm using black and white with little splashes of color here in there..its going to be awesome...but anyway I think Tom did an awesome job with this and I wanted to share it with everyone!

What about me 4 my Wednesday

I'm grouchy..I was putting up a post about not getting any sleep AGAIN...and missing out on "other things with my "joshy" for two nights in a row and to top all that off.... as if that isn't enough to put me in a bad mood the computer screen froze up for like 3 minutes and then closed and I lost everything I had already wrote and the cute little pics i posted with it..and now I'm just that much more GROUCHY and don't feel like going to search for all of the pics all over again.....so there instead of getting to see what I was ORIGINALLY posting you get to see this...I'm GROUCHY, GROUCHY GROUCHY...make sure you got the memo!!!

I need sleep

Its night number two without my sweet thing and yep Im sleepy. If you read my post last night then you know that my "joshy" was out of town for work last night and again tonight. It sucks once you get used to having someone to snuggle up to at night and then to have them be gone a night or two. I spent a little over two years by myself after my divorce so I got used to sleeping alone. But once my "joshy" came into my life and became my snuggle-bunny I sure cant sleep when he's not here. Its strange how quiet the house seems and yet you think you are hearing SOMETHING!!! I even tried laying on his side of the bed thinking maybe if I can smell him it will help me sleep better....nope that didnt work. Last night I tossed and turned so much I felt like I was getting my exercises it was ridiculous!!! SO here is it night number two and Im sitting here still not able to just crawl in bed and go right to sleep. Even though I can clearly feel I'M TIRED!!!! I was tired all day long. And I felt it when I finally took a moment in my day and sat down I thought omg I should sleep so good tonight....but nope here I am!!! All I know is nothing better go wrong tomorrow and he doesnt make it home because this girl can not do 3 nights of no sleep!

Im sorry but I need some sleep or I am gonna be UGLY come morning !!!!!!

I can't sleep!!!

I can't get to sleep...my honey is away for work tonight and even tomorrow night and I HATE IT...I cant get comfy I cant seem to relax I keep thinking Im hearing things...I even went up and took a nice hot bubble bath thinking that would get me all relaxed and I could just slip into bed and drift off to lala land....WRONG. I laid in the tub and kept thinking what was that??? Did the kiddo get up, is the dog in his kennel??? I finally made it thru my bath, and rechecked all the doors to be sure they were locked, got a nice drink of water before I made my way to bed. Kiddo is sound asleep, dog is in his kennel and he is sound asleep. Im tired its later then I usually go to bed, I surely will be able to fall right to sleep....but no here i am awake staring at the computer screen wondering what on earth is the matter with me. I can have the whole bed I can spread out all over it, its mine I own this space!!!!

but no instead ....I'm listening to my son talk in his sleep and the dog make noise in his sleep I want to call my honey and tell him I cant sleep when he is not here but I know that wont set well with him as he has to get up early and work a long day so he is probably sleeping like a baby while I lay here WIDE AWAKE!!!
oh I cant wait until he gets back I need my sleeping partner....I need my snuggle bunny....I need MY SLEEP!!!!!
